Hi! I have a very simple nail art for you today. Despite my busy schedule, I was still able to do a quick mani. Stress reliever!

For this nail art, I used MoYou London Sci-Fi 06. I used two coats of Nature Republic Deep Sea Blue as my base.

When I sent a photo of this to my boyfriend, he said it reminded him of circuit boards; hence, the title.

I finished this off with my very trusted Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat.

Swatch: Polish Me Silly - Toe-Tally Cosmic

I have a very cool polish to show you today. It's Polish Me Silly Toe-Tally Cosmic. It is a beautiful green multichrome polish which shifts its color from green to purple to gold. I painted to coats over a black base. It applies smoothly and easily. It also dries really fast to a glossy finish.

I think the only problem I encountered with this is capturing its correct color. Thus, I had to take a video of it (made it into a .gif). I had to move my ring light around just so you could see the color shift.

2NE1 "Happy" Inspired Nail Art + tutorial

I love Korean pop. Although I no longer post about it as much as I did before, I still love it. 2NE1 is one of my favorite groups. Last March, they released a music video for their song 'Happy'. Despite the very happy tune and their happy faces, the meaning of the song is actually very sad. The MV had a lot of cute icons so I decided to make a nail art inspired by it.

Before I proceed with the tutorial, watch the MV below and you'll know why I chose this design.

'Happy' by 2NE1 (via Youtube)

For this nail art, I used nail water decals from Born Pretty Store. You may use my code 'BRH10' upon checkout to get a 10% discount. One sheet has a lot of designs with different colors. The three boxes actually have the same designs. The color just changes.

Aside from the water decals, you'll be needing a small container filled with water, a pair of scissors, and tweezers (not in the photo).

Remove the transparent film. I suggest you don't throw it away because you can just put it back when you're done using the decals.

Cut out the designs that you would like to use.

Soak the design in water for about 10-20 seconds.

The design will just slide off of the paper once you pick it up with tweezers.

Just a trivia: The paper used for water decals is called water-slide. Thus, it just 'slides' off with water. :)

Place it on your painted nails. Make sure the polish is already dry!

Seal it with your favorite top coat. :) Easy, right?

The text '2NE1' was done using freehand and white acrylic paint. Here is a close-up shot.

You can now create your 2NE1 inspired nail art easily. :)

That's it for this post! Thank you for reading! :)

Winnie the Pooh

Winnie the Pooh is a bear who loves honey. He used to be my favorite Disney character because he looks so cuddly. But, along came Tigger and I just fell in love. Haha.

By the way, I have some really good news for those who are interested in buying my nail stencils. I am now able to ship internationally! :) Just send me an email or a message on Facebook.

Back to my nail art. Pooh is my inspiration for this nail art. For my base, I used two coats of The Face Shop YL702 (yellow), two coats Nature Republic Cocoa (brown), and two coats of Nature Republic Pastel Blue (sky blue).

Colored spaces + tutorial

Hi! I'll be very busy starting today until October. Our schedule for this school year is jam-packed. Don't worry, I will still update my blog.

My nail art for today is very simple but I still made a tutorial so it's easier to explain how I did it.

Captain America Inspired Nail art

Quick post!

I did a maniswap with my friend, Ayen (IG @mcbnails). I recreated her Captain America nail art and she recreated my flowers and pinstripes nail art. For this post, I'm going to show you my Captain America nail art.

I used Barry M white, Bench Paintbox Blue Steel and Revlon China Flower. I also used my straight nail stencils to create perfect lines.

I finished it off with Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat. :)

Something fishy

My summer vacation is coming to its end. :( I still want to go the beach, go scuba diving and just be a bum. Of course, I have to go back to school. But I won't end my summer vacation without posting a summer inspired nail art. Believe it or not, this is the my first summer that I spent a lot of time in the beach. I usually just stay at home and watch TV. What a lazy person. Haha. Things changed. :)

How do you spend your summer vacation?

Anyway, for this nail art, I used piCture pOlish Lagoon. It's a beautiful turquoise shade with turquoise glitters in a jelly base. I used 2 thin coats for this. I really love how bright this is! :)

Marry me!

I love happy endings, especially when the story is really good and the characters are written really well. This nail art is inspired by those love stories with happy endings. :)

For my base, I used L'oreal Macaron Noisette. I stamped it with MoYou London Bridal 4 and 6. I finished it off with Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat.

Flowers and Triangles

Hey! It's already June which means I'll be going back to school in just a few days. Well, 12 days to be exact. I will post less nail arts by that time but I promise I won't let this blog die. I'll always find time to do my nails. :)

Oh, by the way, I already reached 1000 Instagram followers! Yay! Thanks to everyone who likes my nail art.

Now on to my nail art. For this mani, I used Bobbie Kaleidoscope Cherrie Red as my base. I stamped it using MoYou London Princess 09 and Mundo de Unas stamping polish. The three triangles were made using my straight nail stencils. The polish I used to fill in the spaces is piCture pOlish Paradise.
