Swatch: Bobbie Kaleidoscope Polish - Grey Mod

Hi! This is just a quick swatch post. I just got home from the beach. I'm really enjoying the beach experience recently because I bought a rash guard, Speedo goggles and aqua shoes. I saw a lot of fishes and corals! Fun day! :)

Okay. Here's the swatch of Bobbie Kaleidoscope polish in Grey Mod. I used 3 thin coats and no top coat. It changes its color from gray to black.

Lady Bugs

I went to the beach yesterday so I forgot to post this nail art. I really had fun at the beach with my boyfriend. There were a lot of fishes and corals. We will probably go back again this week. Haha. The summer heat is leading me to the beach.

Anyway, my nail art is all about lady bugs. I used 2 thin coats of Revlon's China Flower. It is also scented and I don't quite understand the scent. I do not hate it but I don't like it, too. So neutral? But I love its color. It is a very pretty bright red.

I used MoYou London Princess 10 for the lady bugs. I then topped it with Seche Vite Dry Fast Top coat.

Here are some close up shots. I'm having difficulty with my ring light when I'm taking macro shots.  I like that it properly illuminates my nails but the ring just blocks the nail art. -_-

That's it for this post! :) Thanks for reading!

Just got a Silhouette Portrait!

I've wanted to own a crafting and cutting machine since last year. When I finally had enough money to buy one, I was so confused as to which machine to get. I originally wanted to buy Sizzix but the dies are very expensive here in the Philippines. After months of research, I decided to buy the Silhouette Portrait. I like the fact that it can cut any design that I make. Their online store also offers inexpensive stencils that you can just easily cut. Let's just say that the possibilities are endless! I can't wait to play with this one.

Swatch: Revlon - Chocolate Truffle

In my previous post, I used Revlon's Chocolate Truffle. Here, I'm going to show you swatches of this chocolate-y good polish. Haha. I swear it smells like chocolate. Yum!

This bottle, along with 2 more, was given to me by my boyfriend. My mom also gave me 1, so I have 4 from this collection. I'll be posting swatches of those soon. For now, let's just focus on this bottle of chocolate.

The consistency is really good. It is really opaque. I used 2 thin coats and topped it with a top coat. It actually reminds me of Nutella spread. The color looks the same, right? :)

The bottle looks really cute, too. The cap is bulb-shaped like that of the pawns in chess! Haha.

That's is for this post! Thanks for reading!

Chocolate Flower

Hi! I named this nail art 'Chocolate Flower' because I used Revlon's Chocolate Truffle. I used 2 thin coats of that polish. I stamped it with some flowers from MoYou London Pro 08 for my ring finger, and MoYou London Princess 10 for the rest of my nails. The stamping polish I used is Jocarste white. After stamping it, I topped it with Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat.

Swatch: Bobbie Kaleidoscope Polish - Indigo Blue

Quick post! Here's another polish from Bobbie's thermal polishes. It's called Indigo Blue. It changes its color from sky blue to indigo. I used three thin coats for this and no top coat.

Crooked Tribal

Hey! I have another gradient + stamping mani for you today. I am loving my liquid palisade. I can now do gradients easily.

Okay, the title says it all. It is crooked. Haha. It was difficult for me to properly align the image. I need more practice. Nevertheless, I still love how this turned out.

Product Review: Liquid Palisade

I love doing gradients because of the effect it gives. However, it's a very messy nail art to do. After sponging some polishes on to my nails, I have to clean the skin around my nails. I use acetone when cleaning, and it can be very drying on the skin. Furthermore, it takes up a lot of my time.

I was so happy when Jacqueline, the owner and creator of Liquid Palisade, contacted me.

Pink sushi roll?

I honestly do not know what to name this nail art. But it does remind me of sushi rolls. Haha. Weird, huh? :)

For this nail art, I used Bobbie Cherie Red as base then stamped it with MoYou London Sailor 03. No top coat :)

It's so difficult to think of a title for nail arts. Sometimes I just think of the first thing that pops in my head. Haha. Do you have that problem, too? :)

Swatch: Bobbie Kaleidoscope Polish - Cherie Red

Hi! :) In my previous post, I told you that I bought some color changing polishes from the local brand Bobbie.

For this post, I'm going to show you Cherie Red.

I used 3 thin coats. No top coat was added.

Cherie Red is a pale pink polish which changes to a hot pink shade when the temperature becomes cold. I immersed my fingers in to cold water so that I can show you the color change. I'm amazed at how fast it changes its color. :)

When I was applying this, the AC was on, so I had to turn it off to change it back to pale pink.

Here is a close up shot. The hot pink is already fading. Pretty cool, right? :)

Here's a side-by-side photo. It's really a cool polish. I hope they'd release more colors. :)

That's it for this post. :) Thanks for reading!

Green Leafy

Hey! :) I know my title seems a bit weird or lacking but when I did my nail art, all I could think of was the phrase "green leafy vegetables". Since the stamped images are not vegetables and they are more of leaves, I decided to just name it 'Green Leafy'. Haha.

I used 3 thin coats of Bobbie Lemon Souffle from their Kaleidoscope Collection. I didn't put any top coat.

Swatch: Bobbie Kaleidoscope Polish - Lemon Souffle

I have a color changing polish to show you. It's from the Kaleidoscope Collection of a local brand called Bobbie. I've been seeing a lot of expensive color changing polishes and my heart just wasn't into buying them. When Bobbie released this collection, I immediately bought all colors that were there. It only costs Php 79.75 per bottle!

I don't know how many colors they released but right now, I only have 4 shades. For today, I'm going to show you Lemon Souffle. I used 3 thin coats with no top coat.

On the Dot

Hey! Here's a simple studded mani for you. :) For my base, I used two thin coats of OPI Solitaire. I love that it dries fast and to a textured finish. No top coat was added.

I added black studs, that I got from BornPrettyStore, on each nail to give it some contrast.

Spikes and Skulls

Hi! I've been so lazy recently. I was just sleeping and eating all day. Haha. I also did my nails but I didn't have the 'strength' to write a post. Anyway, no more lazy days for me. :)

For my base, I used OPI Vesper from the Bond Girls Collection. This one is actually part of the mini set. I bought the set since I know I won't be able to finish a whole bottle. In fact, I've never finished a whole bottle of polish. Vesper is a deep purple polish with black glitters. It dries to a textured finish.
