Under The Sea

Hi! Finally, exams are done! I can finally paint my nails all day long! Haha. I'm just so excited to swatch the nail polishes that I bought and to stamp them with my MoYou London and FUN plates. I still have a lot of unused plates.

Since it's already summer break, I decided to make a summer related nail art. I also dedicate this nail art to my boyfriend who has a saltwater aquarium. For my base, I initially painted my nails with China Glaze Hopeful. I, then, sponged it with some gradient using China Glaze Aqua Baby, OMG Atlantis and Nature Republic Mint Sky. I love gradients but they are so messy to do.

Do you have any tips on how I can lessen my cleaning time when doing gradients? Please comment them below. I would love to know how to avoid getting my fingers all messy with the sponge.

Going back to the nail art. I stamped it with MoYou London Sailor 08. I also did a few decals (still with MoYou Sailor 08).

Product Review: BornPrettyStore Double Sided Stamper and Scraper

Hey! As I've mentioned in my previous post, Born Pretty Store was nice enough to contact me and send me a few items to review. For this post, I'm going to review their double sided stamper which comes with two plastic scrapers.

Black over Gold

Hi! I would like to share my simple nail art.

I used two coats of OPI Love.Angel.Music.Baby. and stamped it with an image from MoYou London Explorer 03. I didn't use any top coat because L.A.M.B. dries with a matte finish. I wanted the matte to show. :)

Swatch: Orly - Green with Envy

Hey! I'm really busy this week and next week. I have a lot of exams to take. Good thing I was able to find time to swatch this polish for you.

This is Orly's Green with Envy. I used 2 thin coats and no top coat. Photos were taken under artificial light.

Neon Graffiti

Hello! I have a lot exams starting Monday but I just can't not paint my nails. Having bare nails is just not my thing. Haha.

This nail art is inspired by LuvMyLacquer. When I saw her photo on Facebook, I immediately wanted to do my own version of it.

I painted my nails with a white base. I let it dry and sponged it with some OMG neon polishes that I recently bought, and then stamped it with an image from FUN 7.

Trip to the Zoo Nail Art

I decided to place some stamping decals on my Tangerine Burst Swatch. I was browsing through my FUN plates and I found cute images of different animals. The decals were very easy to do but I had difficulty applying them on my nail. I think my Seche Vite Fast Dry Top coat has gone goopy. -_- Bubbles were everywhere! Better get my hands on some Seche restore. :)

Despite that, I still decided to post this nail art. :) The image plate I used is FUN 07 from Fab Ur Nails

Facing the storm

I'm going to face a great storm in the upcoming weeks. The things to read are just piling. :( We also have a lot of requirements that we need to finish. :(

But that won't stop me from painting my nails. :D

For this nail art, I used Orly Green with Envy as base. I used 2 thin coats then topped it with Seche Vite Fast Dry Top Coat. I, then, stamped it with an image from MoYou London Sailor 03. I topped it again with Seche Vite top coat. Silver stamping polish is from MyOnline Shop
