Happy mail again!

I'm so happy to receive another happy mail. This time it's from a friend - Thiamere of She was very kind to send me this package filled with nail polishes, nail stickers and skin products.

These are the things I received. Who wouldn't be happy with them, right?

This is the Beauty Angel Cosmetics Make-up kit. At first, I thought it was a booklet but when I opened it, I was happy to see that it's a make-up kit. Haha. I didn't read the cover. I can't wait to try the eyeshadows and the blushes. It also comes with a brush. On the left side is an easy tutorial on how to use it. I will definitely try this out during my break time.

These 4 are my favorite contents of the package. I just love nail polish. Shatter by OPI is actually my first OPI nail polish which makes this one really special. The same goes for the Elianto (lime green) nail polish. The other two polishes on the left most are created by Thiamere herself. She's so creative! I can't wait to use those two polishes. :)

These are the other contents of the package. I got 4 nail stickers (I forgot to include the other sticker), 3 sample size tubes from L'oreal, an artist brush (I'll definitely use this for my future nail arts, and a facial mask from Daiso. I'll do a review on the mask soon. :)

I was really overwhelmed with what I received. I'm really thankful for everything. I can't wait to use each product in this happy mail. :) Thank you, Thiamere! *HUUUGS*

That's it for this happy mail post. :) I hope you enjoyed reading!

Nail Art: Toy Story

I'm so happy because we have a 3 day break. I finally have ample time to do my nails. :) I saw that Nailed to the T is having a Disney themed nail art contest (you can find it here). I got so excited when I saw the post. I thought of a lot of Disney movies but I decided to do a Toy Story nail art. I was able to watch all 3 movies and the 3rd one did make me cry.

This is my entry:

For the characters, I used acrylic paint. As for the white base coat, I used Cutex' Pure Cotton. For my top coat, I used Cutex' Clear Gloss. I'm happy that it didn't take an hour for it to dry. I'm definitely buying it again.

I think Buzz kind of looks funny. His face is a bit bloated, don't you think? I like how Woody turned out, though.

That's it for this post :) Thanks for reading!

Haul: Cutex Nail Polishes

In my previous posts, I mentioned that the place where I'm reviewing is just in front of the mall. Every after class, I always go to the mall and see if I'm in the mood to buy polishes. Last week, I was able to buy 6 new colors, 1 base coat, 1 top coat and 1 nail strengthener from one brand which is Cutex. One bottle of nail polish costs Php 109 (~$2.50).

(L-R: Gold Rush, Indie Glow, Pure Cotton, Spooktacular, Catwalk Style, Pacific Blue)
These are the polishes that I bought from Cutex. As you can see above, the polishes have very cute names. It's actually one of the things I like about these polishes. Another thing that I like about this nail polish is the brush. It's flat and it makes application of the polish easy. The consistency of the polish is also good (it's not gooey nor too thin). The polishes also don't chip off easily. :)
From left to right, I have 2 top coats, a base coat and a nail strengthener. The top coats don't dry as quick as those expensive ones but they're okay. They don't take hours to dry. They also give a glossy finish and they really protect my nail art for days. The base coat dries quickly so you don't have to wait too long before applying your polish. As for the nail strengthener, I did notice that my nails weren't as brittle as before. Yay for happy nails. :) The best thing about these are they are toxin-free. They really make my nails happy. :)

That's it for this post. :) I'll do some swatches when I have time. Thanks for reading! :)

Nail Art: Disney's Brave

I was really happy when the movie Brave was finally shown in the cinemas here in the Philippines. Yesterday, I watched it with my family. It's a very good movie. I give it two thumbs up! :)

While I was watching the movie, I already had an idea for a nail design. I used the striping tapes I got from and I bought a nail polish which is almost the same as Merida's dress. (Merida is the main character)

I used the nail polish from Cutex named Pacific Blue. I definitely love the brush. It was very easy to spread the nail polish. I'm going to buy more polishes from Cutex.
For Merida, I used acrylic paint. I had a difficult time doing her hair. I really don't know how to make/paint curls.

As you can see the nail polish on my pinky, there are fingerprints. I accidentally touched it while it was still wet. T_T Stupid me~ Good thing it's not so obvious. :)

That's it for this nail art :) I hope you enjoyed reading. :)
